Description

We are seeking a SQA & Test Engineer to join our team at xCloud, a hosting industry leader similar to Spinupwp and Cloudways. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web-based applications and services.

• Proficiency in WordPress, Shopify, and SaaS applications.
• Proficient in the LEMP stack, including NGINX, MySQL/MariaDB, PHP, and experienced in caching (object and page), with a strong understanding and practical knowledge.
• Minimum 1+ years of experience in this field (in the hosting industry).
• Solid knowledge of SQA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with Linux, Security, Firewall, Permission, etc knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with OpenLiteSpeed (OLS) web servers is considered a plus.
• Application security and code review experience.
• Proficiency in web testing with a strong understanding of DNS and basic programming skills.
• Hands-on experience with UI automation tools such as Laravel Dusk and Selenium is a plus.
• Experience in API manual testing and automation using tools like Postman or similar is a plus.
• Knowledge of frameworks like Laravel and React is a plus.
• A team player mindset with the ability to make important decisions and stand behind them.
• Attention to detail, ensuring no critical bugs escape detection.

• Write test cases, collaborating closely with developers..
• Perform functional and non-functional testing for xCloud hosting services.
• Report issues/bugs on tracking systems. Collaborate with developers to ensure identified bugs are resolved.
• Create & maintain automation tests for features.
• Design & execute manual test cases and test scenarios to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Practice & enhance automation skills by developing automation scripts where applicable.
• Identify system malfunctions and promptly report and track issues.
