Here at Startise, we love empowering businesses and celebrating all the little achievements and occasions. One of the most prominent and celebrated events is in-house Pitha Utshob, which celebrates at the end of winter with sweet traditional cakes, cheerful music, and the unity of the team being together. It has become a tradition for the team with time, and this year was no different. Keeping up with the legacy, this year’s Startise Pitha Uthshob — the 5th one for our team was bigger, better and even more special than ever before.
Are you excited, like us, to reminisce about the most colorful event of the year, Startise Pitha Utshob 2025? Do you want to know how we created the largest Pitha Uthshob in our team’s history? What were the highlights? Then, let’s dive in and walk the memory lane together.
Bidding Farewell to Winter with Festivals: Celebrating Startise Pitha Utshob 2025
What began as a small in-house winter celebration has since grown into a true cultural legacy for our team. We have been celebrating this team event since 2021, making this year’s event the 5th one in a row.
Pitha Uthsob 5.0 was amazing, with the largest number of participants- with all 120+ team members and their closest family members as the special guests, the event hosted 300+ attendees, all contributing to the shared joy of the festivities. We laughed, sang and danced together, ate delicious Bangladeshi pithas, and built stronger bonds, Startise Pitha Utshob 2025.
A Mouthwatering Celebration of 50+ Types of Pithas from Different Parts of the Country

Startise Pitha Uthsbob 2025, one of our most cherished team events, was a day-long festival and had many segments of festivities that kept excitement high in the air all throughout. But the main attraction was most definitely the delicious and mouthwatering pithas, also known as traditional cakes. Sourcing or handmaking the different pithas takes time and is an activity that the entire team participates in from a week before the event even takes place. Coworkers and friends team up with fun names, decide collaboratively what they would treat the rest of Team Startise to, and prepare for the Pitha Utshob. Every team tries their best to bring the tastiest food and seeks to introduce the team to special pithas from different parts of the country – and the excitement buzzes through the office premises.
This year, in Pitha Utshob 2025, Team Startise brought 50+ types of pithas to the table, each one more delicious and more connected to the culture of Bangladesh in a different way. In total, the 50 different types of pithas led to 900+ delectables, including the well-known Vapa Pitha, Chitoi, Patishapta, Kheer, Sondesh, Nokshi pitha, Pakan pitha, and others; there were also Mahalabia – a Middle Eastern milk pudding that won hearts of all the team members with a sweet tooth. But were all the dishes sweet? No, just like we like to embrace team members of different cultures at Startise, we like to cater to different tastes and palettes that everyone has. And so, we tried to keep savory dishes as well, which included Goose curry with Flatbread, homemade Beef Kabab, Gourmet Sliders, Dumplings, Chowmein, and many more dishes.
Transformed The Startise Headquarters into a Lively Place with Joyful Decorations & Music
Another highlight of the Pitha Utshob is that Team Startise always hosts this event themselves and that includes not only bringing the delicacies but also turn the Startise Headquarters into a true scene of colors, lights and glitters. And like every year, this time, the entire team worked together from scratch to make this event a success, with 25 dedicated organizers and volunteers planning and bringing ideas to life for this grand event.

We arranged the program on the rooftop, in the open air. The place was eye-soothing, as well as challenging to decorate and turn into a festival. This year, the theme was “A Garden Under The Stars“. On January 30th, our week-long plan, dedication and hard work paid off when the Pitha Utshob 2025 went live. Here are some sneak peeks of top moments.
Welcomed Our Families with Warmth & Fun Kid Activities
Pitha Uthsob is not only a team event; it has also turned into our family event. We tried to invite our closest family members. They are the core of our program and bring joy to events like this. The most engaging event of Pitha Utshob was the children’s segment.
We arranged children’s maze games, drawing competitions and many more. We had 20+ participants from 1 to 9 years. They all enjoyed it and took part in every segment with enthusiasm. Giving out prizes to participants was another interesting event. We laughed and joined in their merriment. This segment has made the guests feel like they were part of the team – the bigger Startise family.
Mandatory Musical Evening Soothes Everyone’s Experience
Ending the event with an in-house musical session has become a mandatory part of Startise Pitha Utshob too. This year was no exception. In the afternoon, after enjoying the various pithas to the fullest, we started our musical session.

All of the singers and instrument players were from our own team, taking the stage with their guitars and musical expertise to entertain everyone. The program had also evolved into an in-house karaoke session with all. Teammates and their families join in. With the sun setting in the background and our favorite music playing, it was a truly magnificent evening.
A Legacy of Team Work, Collaboration & Everyone’s Effort: Startise Pitha Utshob 5.0
The urge to hold Pitha Utshob in the first was to have an event of our own where, from decorations to food arrangements, all would be done by ourselves. This year’s event was extraordinary. A huge thank you to the incredible team who pulled off such a grand event; it would not have been possible without your dedication, creativity and teamwork.
We are extremely proud and grateful for team enthusiasm and collaboration! Every year, we are blessed to have a bigger audience than last year. Hopefully, the Startise Pitha Utshob program’s legacy will live on.
