xCloud Proudly Sponsors WordCamp Nepal 2025: Powering the Future of Hosting for WordPress

WordCamp Nepal 2025

We have always believed that community is at the heart of everything WordPress stands for. That is why we were thrilled to be part of WordCamp Nepal 2025 — not just as sponsors, but as true community members, ready to learn, share, and grow together.

This year’s event took place in the vibrant city of Kathmandu, with more than 1,000 WordPress enthusiasts gathering under one roof. From developers and designers to bloggers and business owners — it was three days of meaningful conversations, inspiring sessions, and powerful connections.

As a brand of Startise, xCloud showed up in full force as a Mount Everest Sponsor — and we had one goal: to help power the future of WordPress hosting in Nepal and beyond.

If you stopped by our booth, joined a session, or even shared a coffee with us — thank you. You made this experience unforgettable. 💙

Startise’s Commitment to the WordPress Community

Startise – the team behind brandslike xCloud (our lightning-fast hosting platform) and WPDeveloper, home to some of the most-loved WordPress plugins on the web.

From the very beginning, our mission has been clear: to build tools that empower the WordPress ecosystem and support the people who make it thrive.

Over the years, our brands have been part of WordCamps across the globe — from Asia to Europe and beyond. But events like WordCamp Nepal hold a special place in our hearts. They are packed with local energy, fresh perspectives, and that magical WordPress spirit that brings everyone together — no matter where you are from or how long you have been in the game.

We believe the best way to grow is by giving back — and that is exactly what we aimed to do at WordCamp Nepal 2025.

WordCamp Nepal 2025: Key Highlights

As a Mount Everest Sponsor of WordCamp Nepal 2025, xCloud Hosting came prepared not just to support but to fully engage with the community that makes WordPress thrive. From the early hours of Contributor Day to the closing moments of Conference Day, the energy around our team was electric, and the response from the attendees made every moment count.

🛠 Contributor Day: A Culture of Giving Back

Contributor Day is often called the “heartbeat” of any WordCamp, and in Kathmandu, that rang especially true. Hundreds of WordPress enthusiasts — from students to seasoned developers — gathered to contribute their skills to the open-source platform. The xCloud Hosting team split into several groups to contribute across key areas:

  • Core & Hosting teams worked on performance enhancements tailored for South Asian users.
  • Others joined Documentation and Training, making WordPress more accessible for first-time users in emerging markets like Nepal.
  • New contributors, many attending their first WordCamp, were welcomed and mentored by xCloud and other community leaders.

As a brand that is part of Startise, xCloud takes immense pride in fostering this kind of culture. WordPress community events in 2025 are about far more than talks — they are about empowering people to contribute, collaborate, and shape the future of the internet together.

🎪 Conference Day: Swags, Conversations & WordPress Fun

Conference Day brought a new kind of energy. With the halls buzzing at the Kundalini Durbar Banquet, xCloud Hosting set up one of the most visited booths of the event. Our interactive challenges, surprise giveaways, and signature swag (yes, those caps and stickers flew off fast!) made it the perfect space to connect and learn.

More than 160 people participated in our “10-second WordPress” game, which tested their knowledge of plugins, themes, and tools in rapid-fire style. The Mega Giveaway — where winners walked away with AirPods — created an extra buzz around the booth, but it was the conversations that left the most lasting impact.

We talked to developers seeking AI-powered WordPress hosting, freelancers looking for affordable yet scalable solutions, and agencies wanting localized performance optimization. These real-world insights are what guide the innovation at xCloud — and by extension, at Startise.

M Asif Rahman’s Session: From Dreaming to Building WordPress Businesses

It would not be WordCamp Nepal 2025 without a little inspiration, and our founder, M Asif Rahman, brought just that to the stage. 🙌

In the panel discussion on, “Building WordPress Businesses: Agencies, Products & Beyond,” he shared the journey that brought him from curious community member to building multi-brand companies like xCloud and WPDeveloper — with a few wins, losses, and hard-earned lessons along the way.

The room was packed, and for good reason. He did not just talk business — he talked real talk:

  • How to stay focused when you are building from scratch
  • What it takes to launch and grow a plugin or hosting product
  • Why community involvement is the best growth strategy
  • And how open source can open real doors

After the session, he even joined a question-and-answer session. If you caught the session, you probably left the room with a few notes and a lot of inspiration — we know we did.

The xCloud Booth Buzz: Conversations, Cool Swags & Mega Surprises

Right from the start, the xCloud booth was buzzing with energy and honestly, we could not have asked for a warmer welcome. As a Mount Everest Sponsor, we came ready with plenty of excitement (and yes, swag), but what really made our day? The conversations.

We got to connect with:

  • Developers curious about performance improvements for Nepali WordPress sites
  • Bloggers looking for hosting that is reliable and affordable
  • Students dropping by with questions about contributing to WordPress
  • Agency owners sharing what it is like to scale in South Asia

And then there were the laughs, the impromptu demos, the “hey, I follow you on Twitter!” moments, and the friendly competition during our 10-second WordPress Challenge (so much fun!). 🎮

Of course, our giveaway was a hit too. We had more than 160 people participate — and the AirPods winners? Let’s just say the cheers were loud. 🏆

What stood out most? Everyone who visited didn’t just want freebies — they wanted to connect, share ideas, and talk about real challenges. That’s what made our booth special. It became more than just a space — it became a hub of possibility.

Looking Ahead: Startise’s Continued Support – See You At Next WordCamp

From the heart of Kathmandu to the heart of the WordPress community, WordCamp Nepal 2025 was a reminder of what truly powers the open web — people. For Startise, it was an honor to support this vibrant event through xCloud Hosting, not just as a Mount Everest Sponsor, but as an active contributor to the ecosystem we love and serve.

As the curtains closed on this year’s WordCamp Nepal, we did notjust pack up our booth — we packed up insights, inspiration, and a stronger-than-ever commitment to supporting WordPress creators across Asia and beyond. We are happy to meet and greet you.And if we did not get to meet you this time? No worries — we are just getting started.

To everyone we met — the students, developers, designers, freelancers, and agency owners — thank you. 🗓️ See you at next WordCamp👋
