Event Highlights Of WordCamp Asia 2025: Keynotes, Workshops & Community Engagement

WordCamp Asia 2025 was more than just a conference, it was a celebration of innovation, collaboration, and the future of WordPress. Over three days, attendees from across Asia and beyond came together to share knowledge, spark ideas, and strengthen the WordPress community. Whether seasoned developers, agency owners, or newcomers exploring the ecosystem for the first time, everyone found something valuable in this dynamic and inclusive event.

🎯Contributor Day: A True Display of WordPress Collaboration

The event officially kicked off on February 20th with Contributor Day, a cornerstone of every flagship WordCamp. This day showcased the collaborative spirit of open-source, with more than 700 hundreds of attendees contributing to WordPress in various capacities.

They led the tables guiding participants through core development, accessibility improvements, and documentation efforts. 🎯Conference Days at WordCamp Asia 2025: Innovation, Insights, and Collaboration

The Conference Days on February 21-22 brought together WordPress enthusiasts from around the world for keynotes, discussions, and hands-on workshops.

The first day opened with an inspiring keynote by Matías Ventura, highlighting the future of WordPress and advancements in the Gutenberg editor. Sessions covered a wide range of topics, from plugin development to site performance optimization. A major highlight was the keynote panel,WordPress in 2030“, where industry leaders explored the evolution of the platform, technological advancements, and open-source sustainability.

Day two featured specialized sessions, including YouthCamp, an interactive program introducing young minds to WordPress. Advanced workshops focused on AI-powered workflows and custom Gutenberg block development. Our very own Nazmul Hasan Robin took the stage with his insightful session, “Anatomy of WordPress Bug Scrub: What & How,” where he shared his expertise on identifying, reporting, and resolving WordPress core issues—an essential process in strengthening the platform’s stability.

The event concluded with one of the most anticipated sessions “Closing Keynote: An In-Person Q&A with WordPress Co-Founder Matt Mullenweg. Attendees had the opportunity to ask direct questions, sparking discussions on how WordPress will evolve in the coming years. His vision for the platform emphasized continued collaboration, flexibility, and the importance of an open web leaving the audience both inspired and excited for the future.

A new addition this year, the Solutions Spotlight, was a fantastic platform for showcasing innovative tools and services shaping the WordPress landscape. It was great to see how companies, developers, and agencies are pushing boundaries and bringing fresh ideas to the community. As WordCamp Asia 2025 kicked off at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Manila, the excitement was electric. Among the many booths in the bustling sponsor hall, the xCloud booth, representing Startise, quickly became a lively hub of activity, drawing in attendees eager to explore the next-generation hosting that redefined stability, security, and speed.

One of the coolest parts was having our founder, co-founder, and team members available for one-on-one meetings. We also ran live demos of xCloud, showing attendees how our platform can streamline workflows and enhance their hosting experience.
